Kites Against Cancer

Our original plans have gone up in the air, but our kites will still fly high! This year, join us online to honor and remember loved one affected by cancer, by virtually flying kites!

From now until June 7, National Cancer Survivors Day, submit your photos, videos and stories here. We want to know where and why you’re flying your kites this Kites Against Cancer season.

Click here to purchase or sponsor a kite for a $10 donation to The Beyond the Rainbow Fund.

And thank you to our Community Advancement Partners: Hannaford, Seacoast United Sports Club, Newburyport Bank, D.F. Richard Energy, AutoFair Nissan of Stratham, Northeast Delta Dental, Kennebunk Savings Bank, Crescent Wealth Partners, and Transformative Healthcare NH.

The Beyond the Rainbow Fund

The Beyond the Rainbow Fund was founded in 2002 by Anne-Marie Viviano, a Seacoast resident and former Exeter Hospital patient, to provide financial and wellness assistance to patients and their families who face hardship as a result of a cancer diagnosis. Her vision was to relieve individuals of outside stressors so that they could better focus their energy on healing their bodies and minds.

Through generous support, The BTR Fund covers expenses, including rent or mortgage payments, utility bills, transportation, medication, groceries, wigs and wellness treatments. It has become an invaluable resources for hundreds of Seacoast-area cancer patients.

In May, 2009, Anne-Marie passed away after a courageous 14-year battle with breast cancer. Her remarkable journey and resilience of spirit continues to inspire and provide hope to so many, while her legacy continues through the Beyond the Rainbow Fund.

All proceeds from Kites Against Cancer Season benefit The Beyond the Rainbow Fund. Your support is appreciated now more than ever as we help patients navigate these uncertain times.
