Raise the Bar for Pediatric Care

$500,000 Campaign Goal
Last year Exeter Hospital brought world-class care to our community’s children with the introduction of the MassGeneral for Children at Exeter Hospital Pediatric Hospitalist Program. Exeter Hospital now has a MassGeneral for Children pediatrician onsite 24/7 to assess and treat children in the Emergency Department (ED), newborns in the Family Center, and patients in the pediatric unit. The $500,000 fundraising goal for pediatric care will help us sustain this critical program, purchase innovative medical technology, update exam room equipment and support the infrastructure for this new uniquely integrated model of pediatric care.

World-Class Pediatric Care in Exeter
Your gift toward the $500,000 fundraising goal for pediatric care will help Exeter Hospital continue to provide the very best pediatric care for newborns in the Family Center, children in the Emergency Department, and pediatric inpatients. Fourteen year old Seth Noble came into the Emergency Department in January 2022 with COVID-19 pneumonia and a fever of 102. He was having trouble breathing and his oxygen saturation was down to 84. His mother, Lisa Noble, is a nurse herself at Core Cardiology and shared these words about their experience:

“Dr. (Elizabeth) Gale saw my son in the ED and she was great, very no-nonsense which is what we needed. Seth was admitted to the inpatient pediatric area where Angela was his nurse, and she was amazing. She was caring not only for my son, but for me, knowing that I was so worried especially since I am a nurse myself and knew what could be coming. We had a respiratory therapist named Wendy who was also great, she calmed my son down when he was going onto the high oxygen. They also helped calm him down when the decision was made to transport him to Mass General by helicopter. My son has made a complete recovery and has mentioned to me how much it meant to him that Exeter was there for him when he needed them. Thank you.”
