Attitude of Gratitude Reception Recognizes Grateful Patients and Volunteers

It was a morning filled with appreciation at the 1st annual Attitude of Gratitude reception held on September 20th. Grateful patients and volunteers joined clinicians and staff from Core Physicians, Rockingham VNA & Hospice and Exeter Hospital in enjoying a relaxing buffet breakfast. Conversations filled the air as patients shared their experiences of the compassionate care they received, while volunteers, many of whom are grateful patients themselves, spoke of the many ways they help make an impact on the patient care experience.

Dan Raposa, director of advancement for Exeter Health Resources, explains, “The event provided the opportunity for many of our grateful patients to once again thank their caregivers, while at the same time enabling our staff to show our appreciation to them for choosing our healthcare services.  We are honored to have spent a morning with these individuals to whom we provide care, as well as those who selflessly volunteer their time to our organization.”
