Dessert with Docs Introduces ENT and Oncology Physicians to Community

During the most recent Dessert with Docs event on September 22nd at the home of Houssam Aboukhater in North Hampton, NH, Core Physicians’ ear/nose/throat (ENT) specialist Taraneh Azar, MD opened the evening by highlighting current trends in ENT health, including human papillomavirus and concerns surrounding its vaccination. She then answered questions from the audience and turned the floor over to Panos Fidias, MD, director of medical oncology/hematology at Exeter Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care and a Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center physician. Dr. Fidias spoke about the partnership between Mass General and Exeter Hospital, which provides world-class cancer care to local community members and allows them to remain close to home while receiving treatment.

Dessert with Docs offers a unique opportunity for community members to introduce their friends and neighbors to the expertise within the specialty practices of Core Physicians and Exeter Hospital. The events showcase the hospital’s collaborative approach to patient care and the importance both the hospital and physicians place on caring for those within their community.
