Exeter Hospital Launches United in Wellness Road Race Series

Exeter Hospital, a not-for-profit hospital serving the Seacoast, announces the formation of the “United in Wellness Road Race Series,” presented by Seacoast United Sports Club.

The United in Wellness Road Race Series supports nine community road races throughout the Seacoast area. It was developed to unite the community in the missions of several local organizations and support their positive impact on the health and wellness of our community.

“We’re fortunate to have so many wonderful organizations in the area that are supporting great causes and have a profound impact on our community,” says Dan Raposa, director of advancement for Exeter Health Resources. “Exeter Hospital is proud to support these organizations through our new road race series. We believe the work they’re doing is an important part of the healthcare support system on the Seacoast.”

Seacoast United has signed on as the premier sponsor of the road race series. “Seacoast United has been a longtime partner of Exeter Hospital on many initiatives,” says Paul Willis, president and CEO, Seacoast United. “Promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles is part of who we are, so we are honored to support our community by serving as the title sponsor for the United in Wellness Road Race Series.”

The first 1,000 people to register for the series by July 1 will receive a participation gift. Prizes will also be awarded to participants who complete 5 or more races. Prizes include:

Gold – 7 to 9 races:          Sports duffle bag

Silver – 6 races:                Quarter zip pullover
