Exeter Hospital Makes Suicide Awareness and Prevention a Priority

Exeter Hospital recently made a $25,000 donation to the Connor’s Climb Foundation as part of an initiative to support suicide awareness and prevention. The donation was made at the annual Connor’s Climb 5K on May 14. Exeter Hospital served as the lead sponsor of the 2016 road race as part of its commitment to the organization’s mission.

“Suicide has profoundly impacted New Hampshire families,” said Mark Whitney, Director of Strategy for Exeter Health Resources. “As the statistics continue to increase, Exeter Hospital recognizes the severity of the situation and has committed to making suicide awareness and prevention one of our highest priorities.”

Connor’s Climb is seeking matching donations to support its suicide prevention efforts across New Hampshire.
