Oyster River Golf Team Donates to The Beyond the Rainbow Fund

We are inspired by the commitment of the Oyster River High School (ORHS) golf team to pay it forward and help others within our local community.  The team, led by ORHS golf coach and Exeter Health Resources Advancement volunteer, Paul Bamford, organized the Oyster River/Kathy for a Cure Golf Run at the Oaks in Somersworth, in coordination with Kathy Kerrigan, Beyond the Rainbow Team volunteer and founder of Kathy for a Cure.  With 27 players participating in the event, the team recently donated $5,400 to The Beyond the Rainbow Fund to help cancer patients at The Center for Cancer Care.

Kathy Kerrigan explains, “As a former patient at The Center for Cancer Care, I understand the impact that these funds will have on the lives of those undergoing treatment.  It is incredible to see the compassion and desire that the members of the golf team have to give back.  I was honored to have been chosen to partner with the team in support of Beyond the Rainbow and to have experienced the generosity of all involved.”

On November 12, Kathy Kerrigan will host her 9th annual Kathy for a Cure full-day fitness event at the Oyster River High School to benefit The Beyond the Rainbow Fund.  More information coming soon.
