Rock Garden Dedicated in Memory of David Barrows

A peaceful rock garden within Exeter Hospital’s new Center for Orthopedics & Movement was dedicated in memory of David Barrows with a small ceremony of family, friends, and hospital staff on March 17, 2016. The dedication marked 30 years since Barrows’ passing. Maureen Barrows has worked to keep her son’s memory alive through the David Barrows Adventure Fund, a donor-advised fund through the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, which contributed to the Center for Orthopedics and Movement.

“This community has had such a healing impact on us 30 years ago when we needed it most,” said Wayne Barrows, David’s brother. “We’re thrilled to be able to return the favor and impact our community by supporting first-class medical care at Exeter Hospital. “

Exeter Hospital is grateful to Maureen for her contributions throughout the years and her commitment to Exeter Hospital’s Major Gifts Initiative Team.
