Exeter Hospital is pleased to announce that two local businesses have signed on as Platinum sponsors for the 4th Annual Trick or Treat Trot 5K Run/Walk and Creepy Crawler Fun Run to be held on Sunday, October 30. Hannaford in Exeter and Eastern Bank have both pledged their support to the event, which continues to grow in popularity each Halloween.
“Focusing on wellness is important to Hannaford,” said Bryan Sutton, store manager at Hannaford in Exeter. “We’re proud to be part of this event for the second year and support the needs of our community through this fun, family health and fitness event.”
“Eastern Bank believes in supporting the health and vitality of the communities we serve,” said Jamie Thompson, senior vice president at Eastern Bank.” We are honored to support Exeter Hospital as it brings our community together to help patients in need.”
Proceeds will benefit The Beyond the Rainbow Fund, which provides financial support and assistance to patients as they undergo treatment at Exeter Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care.
“Our volunteers, sponsors and contributors all directly play a role in making the Trick or Treat Trot 5K and Fun Run one of the most popular and exciting fundraising events in the Exeter area,” says Dan Raposa, director of advancement for Exeter Health Resources. “Their generous contributions of time and financial support are vital to the patients we treat each year, and for that, we are extremely grateful. “
