Exeter Hospital Celebrates Volunteers

Exeter Hospital showed its appreciation to its many volunteers at a special breakfast held in their honor on June 21. Volunteers, hospital leadership and staff gathered at Grill 28 in Portsmouth to share stories and celebrate the impact volunteers bring to a community hospital.

“Our volunteers play an important role in the care we provide to our patients and within the communities we serve,” said Mark Whitney, director of strategy for Exeter Health Resources. “Whether they provide patient support, volunteer in the gift shop or at our events, , or assist with fundraising, their support and engagement is incredibly valuable to us.   We are deeply grateful for the compassion they bring to our community through their dedicated service each and every day.”

Numerous volunteers support Exeter Hospital, Rockingham VNA & Hospice, Core Physicians and the Advancement team each year. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, click here.
